Impossible is nothing
The results for the most prestigious institute in the country are out. IIT-JEE is a tough nut to crack.
It involves months of toil and application. City-based student Hardik Rupani, with an All India Rank of 441, says, Besides self-learning, proper guidance to learn the finer nuances of the respective subjects, which one can get in good coaching classes, is the key to crack the IIT.

Moreover, I also feel that your friend-circle should be really good and competitive as friends play a significant role in becoming your driving force.
Another city-based student Aditya Bhallal, with an All India Rank of 772, says, It is not necessary that you burn the midnight oil and spend hours studying to crack the IIT as I didnt do it. You should get your fundamentals right, have the right kind of approach to study and not get nervous till the D Day.
Besides hard work, its also the choice of institute that plays an important role and most of the wannabes vouch for it. Dnyaneshwar Ghawat Memorial Foundation is one reputed institute in Pune that has shaped the dreams of many IIT aspirants. The results this year have been very impressive, making it one of the institutes to record a good success ratio.
The institute has three branches with a well-equipped library at all its centres and is open round-the-clock. The course material is frequently updated and comprises 23 books and provides a good grounding in basic concepts using a problem solving approach. Add to that the comfort of air-conditioned classrooms.
All the faculty members at the institute are from IIT and make their experience count. Aditya Deshpande, another student who qualified IIT-JEE, says, What really helped me was a lot of student faculty interaction. Learning here was fun. When I look back, I dont feel there was any effort involved. The institute also runs a foundation course that attracts students from various parts of the state. Students are selected based on percentage secured in standard 9 and 10 with 90 percent as cut-off.

Arun Ghawat, founder of the institute, explains, All the faculty members are available for students at the institute. We appoint facilitators based on topics they excel in, so that the students have an in depth introduction to the subject. The quality of teaching is uniform at all the centres. This year we have 80 out of 130 students qualifying in IIT-JEE, which possibly is the highest success ratio among all institutes.
The institute also offers a fee waiver to underprivileged students, thus also meeting its social obligation to the cause of education, he adds.
With each successive year, the institute registers a greater number of students entering into the portals of IIT. www.dgfoundationiitjee.com
